CCRI proudly partners with Toys for Tots, the Salvation Army, and the U.S. Marines to bring holiday joy to children in need. Donations are gratefully accepted through Friday, December 19th.
CCRI Spreads Holiday Cheer Through Toys for Tots Partnership
The Community College of Rhode Island is proud to once again join the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and the Salvation Army in spreading joy this holiday season through participation in the annual Toys for Tots campaign. Every year, CCRI serves as a trusted collection site, rallying our community to ensure that children across Rhode Island experience the magic and warmth of the season.
Now through Friday, December 19, CCRI invites students, faculty, staff, and community members to drop off new, unwrapped toys at any of our campuses. Festively decorated collection boxes are located at campus entrances and security desks, making it easy to participate in this tradition of giving. The CCRI Student Veterans Office is also helping to champion this year’s effort, continuing their longstanding commitment to service and community engagement.
CCRI Warwick Becomes a Distribution Hub
In a special expansion of our partnership, CCRI’s Warwick Campus is honored to serve as an official distribution site for Toys for Tots December 16 - 19. Working alongside the U.S. Marines and the Salvation Army, CCRI will host families as they select gifts for their children in a warm, welcoming holiday environment.
During distribution week, families will be greeted and escorted by a U.S. Marine through the Field House—an experience designed to make every parent feel supported and every child’s holiday season a little brighter.
