Bio
Aubrie Viera is a graduate of CCRI's Dental Hygiene program earning her A.A.S. in
2008. She received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of New England in
2009 and her Master's degree in Health Education from Rhode Island College in 2012.
Aubrie joined CCRI's faculty in 2012 as an adjunct faculty member and accepted a full
time position in 2020. She teaches Preventive Denistry, Dental Hygiene II and in
various clinics. She is also the Clinic I Coordinator.
Aubrie began her career in the dental profession as a dental assistant in an orthodontic
office. Once obtaining he RDH license she worked as hygenist in perio, general and
group practices. Additionally, she holds a permit to administer local anesthesia,
nitrous oxide, is a Certified Dental Assistant and a Public Health Dental Hygenist.
Aubrie is a member of the America Dental Hygenists' Association and the Sigma Phi
Alpha National Honor Society.
