Dean of Students Office

Welcome to the Dean of Students Office!

The Dean of Students Office is committed to fostering a strong sense of community at all of our campuses by providing the resources, supports, and opportunities necessary for our students to grow and develop and accomplish their goals during their time here.

COMMUNITY

EXCELLENCE

INTEGRITY

As an institution of higher education, our community is special. It is one committed to advancing knowledge through the pursuit of a rigorous, academic curriculum designed to educate you to pursue further education or a career in the field of your choice. As a state-supported institution, our community is a reflection of our towns and cities and the desire for continuous learning and improvement.

We are a community of learners, so we prioritize scholarship, academic excellence, and academic integrity. Our Student Success Centers provide tutoring, academic support, and study skills workshops.

We are a community that values every individual for their unique gifts and experiences, so we treat each other with respect and courtesy, even when we disagree. Our Code of Conduct, Gender Equity Initiative, and Diverse Discussions series all support a community that places high expectations on how we think about and treat each other.

We are a community that encourages growth and exploration. The Student Life Office, student clubs and organizations, Career Planning, and Diverse Discussions series all provide opportunities for you to explore life outside the classroom, learn about yourself and others, try new things, and examine the many career paths of future opportunities.

We are a community that actively engages our civic responsibilities on campus, in our neighborhoods, and in our state. Student Government, Community Service, experiential learning and working in non-profit organizations all provide opportunities to get involved and be part of our national traditions of participatory democracy and local communities working together to solve community problems.

We are a community that promotes opportunities for engagement around issues of civility and respect for students, faculty and staff Where Respect Happens.

We are here to help and always interested to hear your ideas on making the Community College a place that reflects our common values and shared interests. Tell us what you think and how we can keep our co-curricular opportunities exciting and fulfilling and how we make everyone feel like a valued member of our community.
