CCRI Foundation

Community College of Rhode Island provides a variety of scholarships to current students. These scholarships are made possible by the generous donations from various individuals, organizations, and businesses. Xcela Wealth Scholarship

The following groups are eligible to receive this $1000 scholarship:

High school seniors that have been accepted into a college or university
Current college and university students who haven’t reached their last year of studies yet. This includes undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students.

To enter for a chance to receive this scholarship you must write a 500-word essay on the topic:
“What are Unique Ways People Have Reached Financial Stability?”

Submission Deadline
December 15, 2018

Winner Selection
Once the submission deadline comes, the Xcela Wealth Scholarship committee will review all essay submissions. One winner will be selected by the end of January 2019 to receive a $1000 scholarship. The winner will have two weeks to respond before a new winner is selected.



Ampronix is pleased to inform you that they are offering a scholarship up to $1,000 to undergraduates. The information and link are below.


  • Must be a resident of the United States
  • Must be enrolled as an undergraduate at a university
  • Must have performed at least 20 hours of community service in the last year

*All applicants must be able to prove the above criteria are met if chosen. Once residence, enrollment, and community service are verified, the award will be sent directly to your university.

  • Submit a photo of something or someone that has inspired you to continue your education and plan your future career.

Include a 500-word essay describing:

  • How the subject of this photo has inspired you
  • The reasons you chose your specific field of study and your career goals
  • How you give back to your community through volunteerism and how you plan to give back using the skills you are learning in college
