About the CCRI Writing Centers
The three Writing Centers at the Community College of Rhode Island assist CCRI students, faculty, and staff members with different kinds of writing and revision tasks. During a consultation, not only do Writing Center visitors get help with their papers, but they often can use the computers, textbooks, handouts, and other resources for many different kinds of writing projects.
Walk-in tutoring and consultation appointments are available on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sometimes during the academic year, evening appointments are possible; since evening hours occasionally are changed, one of the writing centers should be contacted to find out the current availability of evening appointments. The CCRI Writing Centers are situated on the Knight, Flanagan, and Liston Campuses.
