Assistive Technology Resources
Assistive Technology for Students with disabilities is provided in all IT Academic Computer labs on all campuses. For more information on Assistive Technology please see the Staff or Student Assistants or visit http://www.ccri.edu/dss/index.html
Students registered with the disability office at CCRI are provided access to the assistive technology equipment. The lab has the following software available for students to utilize: Dragon Naturally Speaking, Jaws, Zoomtext, Kurzweil 1000 and 3000. Each lab, also, has a mini mask, trackball mouse, large key keyboard, and headset available for use with the software.
A limited amount of assistance is available to students who utilize the assistive technology equipment. Students requesting assistance in the lab can schedule an appointment with disability services by phone or email. http://www.ccri.edu/dss/contacts.html.
