CCRI to induct three to its Hall of Fame - The Community College of Rhode Island will host its biannual Hall of Fame induction ceremony on April 22. The college will recognize the following individuals for their significant contributions to CCRI: Vincent A. Cullen, former athletic director, basketball coach and professor; Robert A. Silvestre, former vice president for academic affairs and one of the college’s 13 founding faculty members; Charles R. Wilkes, former professor of mathematics and assistant basketball coach. Grant will fund college readiness program

The Community College of Rhode Island Foundation has received a grant to support a program that helps adult learners acquire the skills they need to pass General Education Development (GED) tests and persist in post-secondary education by reducing or eliminating the need to take developmental classes at the community college level.
