Professor Patricia Kelling received her Associate Degree in Nursing from the Community College of Rhode Island. She went on to obtain her Masters of Nursing from Walden University.
Professor Kelling began her career as a nurse at Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island. She has been a member of the CCRI Faculty since 2012. She teaches nursing courses here at Community College of Rhode Island as well as at the University of Rhode Island. Here at CCRI she teaches in both NURS 1010 and NURS 1020. She specializes in Medical Surgical Nursing. In addition, she teaches in HEAL 1060, Dosage and Calculations.
Professor Kelling is very actively involved with the Student Nurse Organization (SNO). She mentors and works very closely with students who wish to establish themselves in roles of leadership. She is always looking for ways to help new nursing students. She often will collect donations on behalf of and distribute anything to students in need.
