- Development of effective post-secondary differentiated instruction methodologies,
including an integration and conscientious approach to diversity inclusion that maintain
the authenticity of the content, allow the instructor to create rigorous and meaningful
content assessments, and preparation of students for workforce readiness.
- Respecting the value of pre-21st century pedagogy while acknowledging the necessity and importance that modern technologies
bring to the classroom, and readily supporting and creating new frontiers in classroom
education and the exploration of biology through these mechanisms.
- Advocating for, developing, and offering sufficient numbers of blended, hybrid, and
distance learning biology courses and sections to fulfill the needs of community members,
especially those who may find themselves unable to attend traditional course settings.
