Professor Barbara A. Bradley is an Associate Medical/Surgical Professor at CCRI. She also has previous teaching experience at St. Joseph's School of Nursing.
Professor Bradley attended the University of Rhode Island, graduating in 1976 with her BSN. In 2002 she obtained her MSN with a concentration in nursing education. She is a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) and also holds certifications from the Medical Surgical Nursing Board as an RN-BC as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and is also an instructor for Basic Life Support (BLS).
Professor Bradley’s nursing background includes Pediatric ICU as well as Adult ICU at Rhode Island Hospital. She worked as a Clinical Leader on a Pediatric medical/surgical floor in El Paso, Texas. She also has served in the Emergency department, operating room at South County Hospital. In addition, she also has been an Administrative Nursing Coordinator at South County hospital for many years.
Professor Bradley is married to Benjamin who is also an RN and together they have two grown children, Nicholas and Lindsay. She enjoys biking, gardening and cooking.
