TRIO Programs

The Rhode Island Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) provides  free and confidential financial aid, academic and career  information counseling.  Since 1978, EOC has served more than 80,000 Rhode Islanders providing assistance  for students to succeed  and complete their educational plans.

Whether it is figuring out what career best fits goals and interests, advocating on  a students' behalf with admission and financial aid offices, filling out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or a college admission application, EOC can help.

The EOC main office is centrally located on the Liston Campus in Providence. Counselors are also available on all CCRI Campuses, CCRI  satellites and in community sites throughout Rhode Island. The Rhode Island Educational Opportunity Center (EOC)  is funded through a grant by the US Department of Education under the Office of Postsecondary Education TRIO Programs to the Community College of Rhode Island.
