This group exhibition of 28 artists from Rhode Island and beyond is composed of work that reacts to the way we look at, care for, spoil, pamper and love cats. A solo show by Providence-based artist Mark Freedman presents paintings from both California and Rhode Island. In these works, he captures urban landscapes filled with roads, cars, factories and a unique quality of light that reveals the surprising depth of our built landscape. Freedman's masterly work, using emotionally evocative colors, connects traditional painting skills and our contemporary world.
