CCRI Governance

The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs assumed the responsibility for gathering the college community's suggestions and input on how to improve the adopted CCRI Governance system.

Voting on the revised documents was open to the CCRI community from April 22 to April 28.  Of the 173 responders, a majority of 115 voted to approve the documents and 58 voted to disapprove.  The following CCRI Governance documents have been approved:

• Approved Governance Document « updated 4/29/2013
• Approved Governance Appendices

Proposed Governance schedule:

•  HR requests nominations to fill committee seats- Nominations have been placed on-hold until further notice.
•  HR confirms nominee participation in voting process
•  Electronic voting to fill committee seats
•  HR posts election results

The approved process is scheduled to be implemented in September 2013.                               The approved process will be piloted for one academic year and assessed at the end of that year.
