Emergency Resources
Emergency Grants
Grant Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Students will be notified via email if approved.
Emergency Grants are available through the CCRI Foundation Student Emergency Relief Fund (SERF) to help students who are facing financial emergencies that are resulting in a barrier to continued college enrollment and completion. The SERF helps with expenses such as books, educational supplies, food, transportation, housing, daycare, medical expenses and other unforeseen costs. Funds are limited in availability, and students who file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have a Student Aid Index (SAI) of $15,000 and under will be given priority. Other students will be considered based on their submission of documented emergency expenses. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling, first-come, first-awarded basis. Grant amounts will generally range between $200-$500, with greater amounts being provided only in the event of extenuating circumstances. Preference will be given to those students who have not yet earned an Associate or Bachelor Degree.
