College to host walk-in registration in Westerly

The Community College of Rhode Island will host walk-in registration sessions for its Westerly satellite campus from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, Jan. 9 and 11, in Room 10 at Tower Street School Community Center, 93 Tower St., Westerly.
The college is offering 23 courses at the Westerly satellite this spring. Spaces remain in classes such as accounting, management, introduction to health careers, Spanish, introduction to computers, history and more. Classes begin Jan. 23.
Also during the walk-in registration sessions, a college adviser will be on hand to administer the ACCUPLACER test, which is required of all students admitted into a degree or certificate program at the college to ensure proper placement in classes.
