Purpose:  To recognize a distinguished student in the Business Administration Department Program at CCRI who is seeking to continue his/her education at a four-year institution.

Processing Procedure: The Business Administration Department Chair appoints scholarship review committee.

The Business Administration Department Chair completes Scholarship Sign-Off form and forwards it and all applications to the Office of Institutional Advancement.  At the same time, the Business Administration Department Chair contacts Jean Lovett in the Office of Student Affairs for the Class Night Program Brochure.

Upon receipt of all materials, CCRI Foundation check is made payable to the selected recipient. Office of Institutional Advancement sends check and congratulatory letter to the selected recipient via certified mail with a copy to the Business Administration Department Chair.  Copies of the letter plus a copy of the application form are sent to:

Revenue HistoryEndowed by Frank Orth, former CCRI employee and Honorary Trustee of the CCRI Foundation, who contributes semi-annually, approximately $500/yr.  Additionally, he has named the CCRI Foundation as a beneficiary for a $5,000 insurance policy.
