If you need help with your distance learning (DL) course, there are several options that you can use. 

Admissions and Financial Aid

For information and/or help with the admissions process, registration, financial aid, transcripts, transfer information etc. see the Admissions website.

Advising and Accommodations

For help in choosing courses and information on accommodations, contact Advising and Counseling (*PDF file) to speak with an advisor.

Course Information

For academic information on a course, please e-mail the instructor of the course (as noted in the schedule of courses) or contact the department that is offering the course.

Library Resources

DL students can access most library services from the comforts of home.  Visit the Learning Resource Center's website for more information.  For guidance on doing research on the Internet, see HELIN's tutorial.

Online Student Services

Students can use their Pipeline accounts to access the following services: add or drop a class online, pay for a course online using a credit card, check seat availability in a course, view an unofficial transcript, view a degree audit, check midterm and final grades for courses, monitor status of financial aid and account balances.

Success Centers

Student Success in both Distance Learning, as well as in traditional classes is a priority of CCRI faculty.  Student Success Centers are available at all four campuses for drop in assistance, and many valuable resources are available on-line at the Success Center website.

Technology Help

For technology assistance, see the Information Technology website for students or contact the CCRI Help Desk. The Help Desk is a free service available to CCRI students through walk-in service at the Warwick campus, via phone at  (401) 825-1112 or by e-mail at helpdesk@ccri.edu.  See the Technology Help Desk website for information on hours of availability. In addition, refer to extensive online documentation and frequently asked questions on both Pipeline and WebCT.

Tutoring

Peer tutoring services are available to all students at CCRI through the Student Success Centers. For more information, see the Peer Tutoring website.
