About Distance Learning
Distance Learning (DL) at its most basic level, takes place when teachers and students are separated by physical distance and/or time. At CCRI, we currently offer three different course formats: online or web courses; hybrid courses; and telecourses. [Learn more]
New to distance learning? COMI 1145, Introduction to Learning Online, is a one-credit hybrid course that will be offered in the Spring of 2014. This course will give you the necessary skills to succeed in an online learning environment. Topics covered include the technology used in distance education, online and library research skills, and online communications skills, as well as time management and organization skills.
The course offerings for Distance Learning classes have been updated to include current offerings. It is very easy to get started with Distance Learning.
