| Cleaning and exam, $10 | The student will perform a thorough examination and cleaning of the teeth. This includes examining the hard and soft tissue of the head and neck; recording normal tissue and tooth structures; recording present fillings, crowns and bridges; assessing the soft debris and plaque in the mouth; and removing calcified deposits on the teeth. |
| Periodontal Exam | Evaluation of the gums and bone around the teeth and identify conditions that compromise periodontal health and function. |
| Other Preventive Services | Fluoride treatment (free) Nutritional counseling (free) Health history screening (free) Oral cancer screening (free) Blood pressure screening (free) Appliance (denture/partial) cleaning (free) |
| Educational Services | Explanation and demonstration of individualized oral hygiene techniques. |
| Sealants, $10 | The student will place protective plastic coating on the chewing surfaces of eligible teeth to prevent cavities. |
| Radiographs (X-Rays), $10 | The student will take bitewing and/or full mouth radiographs to examine the teeth and surrounding structures. A duplicate set of x-rays will be forwarded to your dentist for diagnosis. |
| Panoramic Radiographs, $10 | The student will take one radiograph of all the teeth and surrounding structures in both jaws. A duplicate will be forwarded to your dentist for diagnosis. |
