Rhode Island Works Program

> RI Works participants who enroll in CCRI credited certificate or degree programs are assigned a REACH coordinator based on their residency location.

> Coordinators and services are available on each of CCRI's Lincoln, Newport, Providence, and Warwick campuses.

> REACH coordinators are well-versed in policies and procedures of RI Works as well as all aspects of the Community College of Rhode Island.

> Coordinators can provide information to the client/student about appropriate support services such as child care facilities, 20 or 30 hour work activities, academic counseling, retention and job-hunting to name a few.  They provide the necessary wrap-around services for professional, personal, educational, and early intervention services.

> Coordinators will work with the client/student and the social services caseworker to support the client/student in successfully attaining his or her educational goals while complying with enrollment and work requirements within specified time frames.

> Coordinators keep the lines of communication with the client/student and his or her caseworker open.

> All communication remain confidential and private.
