The CCRI Italian Club officers express appreciation to all participants who attended a Zoom Presentation: "Italian Food Through the Ages" with presenter Master Chef Walter Potenza on Thursday, April 29, 2020 at 4:00PM Online Via Zoom. With much graditute to all our supporters.

This presentation emphasized the following:

  1. Overview on the development of Italian cuisine from the agricultural beginning to elaborate court's cuisine.
  2. Gastronomic difference between the Northern, Central, and Southern regions, from styles, ingredients, and gastronomic philosophy.
  3. Italian specialty foods and classifications, including the status of DOP and IGP.
  4. Eating in Italy and the meal structure of the daily food consumption and sustainability
