Successfully Navigating & Embracing ChangeWhen: Wednesday, April 14, 2021 10:00 am – 11:30 am Facilitator: Ilhiana Rojas Saldana Register here: https://rihetcchange21.eventbrite.com As disruption continues to shift our known environment and throws us into a world of uncertainty, it will be up to us to decide if we wait until the chaos is over and let someone else determine our new future, or we take charge, and use the winds of change to rapidly and effectively transform under our terms. During this interactive workshop, participants will comprehend the process of change, and learn powerful and actionable tactics to shift their mindset from one of fear and negative impact to one of opportunity and growth. Specifically, participants will:
- Gain self-awareness on individual resilience to change
- Learn how to shift their mindset to use change as a catalyst to propel reinvention
- Learn practical strategies to embrace change and create a supportive environment to move forward.

Raising our self-awareness aids in this constant effort. This session will examine and engage the concepts, implicit biases and micro-aggressions, and how these dynamics bear on our workplaces. Challenging ConversationsWhen: Wednesday, May 5, 2021 10:00 am - 11:30 am Facilitator: Kim McCauley Register here: https://rihetcconversations21.eventbrite.com/ Having a challenging (difficult) conversation is rarely easy, but never having the conversation is even worse and it is even more difficult in a virtual world, Attend the session to learn the reasons we avoid challenging conversations and how to professionally converse (via zoom or video chat) in a way that will lead to conflict resolution, respectful dialogue, and win-win.
