This plate shows the arrangement of the major veins in the thoracic cavity of the cat.  Of particular interest is the right vertebrocostocervical trunk that has two configurations.  Most common is the path of this vessel directly to the brachiocephalic vein, although it may go to the cranial vena cava.  The names on the right side of the page include hyperlinks to the appropriate pages in this lab.  Just click on those names to go directly to the respective page.  Note that the cat heart is happy!
