Bio

Welcome to the Community College of Rhode Island!

My name is Rob Giovino and I have been a member of the CCRI Admissions team for the past 22 years and counting. There is no other college in the world that I would rather work.  I am honored to be part of a team that is dedicated to providing you the best possible experience in our quest to earn your enrollment at our college.

My first professional job after college was working for the Procter & Gamble Company, in Cincinnati and New York. I learned the value of building brands and the art of matching products with people’s needs. As a National Accounts Sales Manager, I travelled around the U.S selling P&G products to some of the country’s largest accounts. When I unexpectedly became a caretaker for my parent with Alzheimer’s Disease, I transformed my thoughts on how I would contribute. I always knew education is the game changer in life. So, I decided to help people build their brand so they can market and sell themselves. My goal is to help people determine how their education plan at CCRI is SMAC: (specific, measurable, achievable and compatible) with their long-term life goals. My passion is to help people from all walks of life find their way forward.
