Incident Reporting

The Community College of Rhode Island is dedicated to a safe and inclusive environment, and prohibits all forms of discrimination and harassment based on race, color, national or ethnic origin, gender, gender identity or expression, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, genetic information, marital status, citizenship status or status as a special disabled veteran, recently separated veteran, Vietnam era veteran, or any other veteran who served on active duty during a war or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized. Acts of sexual violence, such as rape, fondling, dating/domestic violence and stalking have no place on our campus or in our community.

All CCRI staff and faculty want to make sure you are safe and can help you in a time of crisis. Be aware that most faculty and staff are “mandated reporters,” meaning they are required to report a possible violation of college policy. If you are worried about confidentiality, visit this page, as these are the only confidential staff at CCRI.

If you have been a victim of sexual assault, find information regarding the next steps to take in the Title IX Handbook.
