Reading Program at CCRI

Welcome to all CCRI reading faculty!

CCRI has a three-course sequence of developmental reading courses: ENGL 0700: Essential Reading Skills, ENGL 0850: Basic College Reading, and ENGL 0890: Critical Reading for College Success.

In the handbook provided, you will find many helpful materials that will guide you as  you prepare  your courses(s). It contains quick tips, contact information, course descriptions and learning outcomes, sample syllabi, assessment instructions, computer program descriptions, and more. The handbook has been designed by CCRI reading faculty to get you quickly and easily on your way to a successful semester.
