College Catalog - Programs of Study
The degree in General Studies should enable students to demonstrate a broad understanding
of the arts and sciences. Graduates should demonstrate effective communication and
computational skills and possess the capacity for continued learning and logical reasoning.
The program allows students the opportunity to select any instructional credit courses
at CCRI for which he or she satisfies the prerequisites.
Note: Many courses required in this program are transferable to four-year colleges and universities in pursuit of a bachelor's degree. Many courses require prerequisites, corequisites and/or testing. See course descriptions for details.
