Dioh Runs Well on Home Course in Tri-State Invite!

Warwick, R.I. – October 4, 2021:  The CCRI Cross Country Team hosted their annual Tri-State Invitation on Saturday on the CCRO Cross Country Courses on the Lincoln Campuses. CCRI had one athlete run in the Tri State Invitational: Freshman Nicole Dioh (Woonsocket, RI)

Dioh Running in her second Collegiate race performed very well on her 5k home course for the first time in collegiate competition.  Dioh placed 33rd in a time of 26:51.0. The 5k race was won by Kasey Clark of Worcester State in an impressive time of 20:58.5. The team title went to Salve Regina with 24 points. After the race CCRI Head Coach Gregg Cornell commented: “Nicole shows promise and will race again on October 24th at the Franklin Park Open.”
