Head Coach Jim McGirr commented after the match: “It was a long day for us against a quality opponent. With 10 international players, we saw firsthand why they are leading their region. However, we made life difficult for them through our combined team effort for the first 40 minutes. We went into the break down by 1 but reminded the players of the work they put in to get to that point so far. In the end, they were too much for us. We need to get our players healthy as quickly as possible.”
The next match for the Lady Knights will be Saturday the 12th when they travel to Auburn, ME to play the Mustangs of Central Maine Community College at 1pm.
