Warwick, R.I. – June 5, 2017: The CCRI Knights won their fifth consecutive Region XXI Championship back on May 18th and will advance to compete in the Division III National Championship at Chautauqua Golf Club in Chautauqua, NY June 6th-9th.
The Knights golf team is in Chautauqua, NY today, Monday the 5th for the practice round and tee off at 9:48am and 9:56am from the first hole. The Knights will be looking to improve on their 12th place finish in 2016 at Chautauqua. The Knights will be led by All-Region XXI Tri-Captain Matt O’Brien (Portsmouth, RI) who finished third at the Region XXI Tournament and freshman All-Region XXI standout Tyler Boisclair (West Warwick, RI) who finished second at the Regionals. The Course at Chautauqua t is very tough with many challenges so the Knights will utilize the practice round to get a feel for the course and to develop a team strategy.
On Tuesday the 6th the Knights will tee off starting at 9:40am with Tyler Boisclair and end with Aaron Bento (Seekonk, MA) at 10:12 am form the first hole. For the full list of tee times click here.
