With the loss the Lady Knights fall to 9-10 on the season.

The Lady Knights began the game slowly, playing their first game in 10 days which led to the Jegos taking an early 18-10 lead after the first quarter. The Lady Knights began to gain momentum in the second quarter as they outscored the Jegos 21-13 to tie the game 31-31 at the half. Once again Tohono was able to gain the early advantage in the third quarter leading by as many as eight points with the score 43-35 but the Lady Knights were able to cut the lead to three points 52-49 to end the quarter. The game was tight from there on out as CCRI took their first second half lead on a 3-pointer from Co-Captain Haley Beausoleil (Plainfield, CT) making the score 60-58 CCRI. Shortly after CCRI took the lead the Jegos regained the advantage on a 3-pointer form Darcy Earnhart making the score 63-61 Jegos. The Lady Knights tied the score 63-63 on a basket by Kennethah Harden (Roosevelt, NY) with under a minute left in the game. Tohono regained a one point advantage on 1-2 free throws from Marqueisha Reed. Lady Knights’ Head Coach Brittany Brown called a timeout to set a final play with 2.5 seconds remaining in the game on the CCRI end of the court. The Lady Knights got the ball in and swung it to Maritza Gustave who got off a 3-pointer from the wing that made it half way through the hoop before rimming out giving the Jegos the 64-63 victory.
