Antonio Fontes

Fontes was the leader on one of the best soccer teams CCRI has ever had. He was named as a National Junior College Athletic Association and National Soccer Coaches Association All-American. 

In his last season, he led the team to a 16-3-1 record with winning the New England Championship for the first time. Fontes was selected to be part of the National Tournament Team and the All-New England Team. While accomplishing all of this on the field, he was also able to maintain a 3.8 GPA and was awarded Student Athlete of the Year award. 

After graduating, he went on to play for the University of Rhode Island and finished his career as one of the all-time scorers there.
