This spring, CCRI’s Dental Assisting program will celebrate its 50th year anniversary. In honor of this milestone, the dental assisting program will host an event to raise money for the Pam L. Coletti Scholarship in honor of Pam Coletti.
Nationally recognized speaker and periodontist, Dr. Marty Nager, will deliver an informative and entertaining periodontal presentation. Marty's goal is to increase awareness and positively change the attitude in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease.
The Pam L. Coletti Scholarship event will take place on April 7 from 8 am - noon at
the Flanagan Campus in Lincoln. A continental breakfast and tour of the dental health
facilities is included. Admission is limited to 160. Reserve your seat and register.
The Dental Health Department has chosen to honor Pam’s passion for dental assisting excellence and student success through the creation of a scholarship in her name.
Pam began her tenure at CCRI in September 1975 and retired in June 2017, after more than 42 years of service to both the Dental Assisting and the Dental Hygiene programs. Pam held many different roles – lab assistant, paraprofessional, lab coordinator and adjunct faculty – but her most important role was being both a mentor and friendly face for all students.
This scholarship will be used to help a dental assisting student pay for Dental Assisting National Board Certification. We ask that you join Pam’s friends and colleagues in recognizing her accomplishments with a donation to the Pam L. Coletti Scholarship. Your contribution will help build a legacy that will recognize Pam’s commitment to the students of CCRI’s dental health programs.
