Cultural Awareness Day Student Signup Sheet
The college will host its annual Cultural Awareness Day on Thursday, April 9, in the Atrium at the Liston Campus in Providence. We are looking for volunteers who originally came from another country or are Native Americans to participate in this celebration of cultures.
Please fill out the form below if you are:
- An international student or Native American willing to be interviewed for a video at your campus before the event. The video, during which we will ask you to introduce yourself and your culture, will be shown during the Cultural Awareness Day event.
- An international or Native American student who would like to be considered to be a speaker or performer during the April 9 event. You would be asked to speak about your country and your culture. A few students will be selected to speak.
If you would like to share your culture with the college community by participating in the video and are available at the Liston or Knight campuses this Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, please fill out a volunteer form by 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, so we can coordinate with you.
If you would like to be a speaker or performer during the Cultural Awareness Day program, please fill out a volunteer registration form by Wednesday, March 25. All students who submit the form will be contacted by Dr. Walter Crocker, Liston Campus interim director.
