Professional Development Day 2019

OneCCRI: Building Solutions Through Community

Save the date!

8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday, April 5

Professional development at CCRI is looking different this year. Our committee is working on a new, fun and interactive format for our annual daylong event, called OneCCRI.

Here's what we hope to accomplish by the end of the day on April 5:

  • Inspire each other and cultivate a sense of belief in ourselves, one another and CCRI as a whole.
  • Learn tools that we can bring back to our work related to collaboration, creativity and understanding diverse perspectives.
  • Build a sense of team and break down silos.
  • Have fun!

Stay tuned for more information about the event and some exciting new ways to get involved! If you're interested in joining the planning committee, please contact co-chairs Lizzie Pollock and Julie Galleshaw

Were you hoping to present a topic at PDD this year? The 2019 format will not feature breakout workshop sessions, but if you had a topic in mind, please email Lizzie Pollock with information. Our goal is to offer more continuous, year-round professional development opportunities for staff and faculty, so we hope to find ways to feature workshops and other topics throughout the year!

The theme for the 16th annual Professional Development Day in April 2018 was Try Something New. Throughout the day, participants heard stories of innovation and creativity throughout our community and beyond, as well as learned practical ways to bring innovation into our everyday lives and work.
