DANB CDA Exam Prep Courses

General Chairside Course Launching Fall 2020!

These courses offer a review of material and concepts to assist dental assistants in preparing for each of the three CDA® Component Exams: General Chairside (GC), Radiation Health & Safety (RHS), and Infection Control (ICE) components of the Dental Assisting National Board.

Note: If all three CDA® Component Exams (GC, RHS and ICE) are not completed, results will expire after 5 years.

General Chairside (GC)

This course offers a review of material and concepts to assist dental assistants in preparing for the General Chairside component of the Dental Assisting National Board.  This course is currently being offered ONLINE.

Infection Control (ICE)

This is a comprehensive interactive course for the entire dental team to explore dental infection control together as well as strategies to comply with the federal OSHA bloodborne pathogen standard, safety devices, training requirements, post exposure incident procedures and much more. It is also excellent preparation for the DANB® Infection Control Exam.

Radiation Health & Safety (RHS)

This course prepares dental assistants to take the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB®) Radiation, Health and Safety examination. This course does not satisfy the Rhode Island Department of Health requirement for exposure of radiographs in the dental setting as there is no clinical component in this course.
