Nature of the Work
Electrical and electronics engineering technicians help design, test, and manufacture electrical and electronic equipment such as radios, radar, sonar, television, industrial and medical measuring or control devices, navigational equipment, and computers. They may work in product evaluation and testing, using measuring and diagnostic devices to adjust, test and repair equipment.
Career Path
Electronic Technicians can engage in sales activities of electronic products, work in research laboratories, test laboratories production prototype fabrication and assembly areas, as well as in the design and engineering offices.

Course Information
Course Description
This program teaches the individual in the basics of modern electronics and communication circuits as well as components. Students receive a general knowledge of electronic systems and architecture to form a solid footing for advancement. The skills learned in the program can be applied to all fields of electronics and communication.
