How can I join?

Who can be a member?
This is a national on-line e-mail community for:
- female students in community colleges who are pursuing tech careers.
- Women in male-dominated tech occupations
Tech occupations are broadly defined to include the full range from information technology to auto technology.
What’s the purpose of the group?
Group members will connect with each other to:
- network on-line
- share tips for being successful in school and on the job
- and to have some female company since it can get lonely being one of very few women in the workplace or in a classroom
How does it work?
- Subscribe by visiting http://www.womentechworld.org/womentechtalk.htm and enter your email address in the "Subscribe to WomenTech" field.
- You will receive a welcome message that you must respond to
- You can then send e-mails to all the members of the womentechon-line community at one time by using the womentech@yahoogroups.com e-mail address.
