World Wide Web Site Policy
The purpose of the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) Web site is to provide a medium for access to accurate and timely information regarding the community college’s mission, its faculty, staff and students, its services and programs, and college-related events. It provides access to local and global resources for teaching and learning, as well as access to school services.
The Community College of Rhode Island home page and associated upper-level pages are official publications of CCRI. Unless otherwise indicated, all text, photographs and original graphics are copyrighted and should not be reproduced without written permission from an appropriate college official.
Who may publish on the web site
Pages linked to the CCRI home page and upper-level pages may be created by academic departments, administrative departments, college-sanctioned organizations or committees, and official student organizations. Faculty and staff may publish personal pages. The author bears full responsibility for the contents of his/her personal Web pages.
Each entity wishing to publish on the web is responsible for naming a Web Information Provider and submitting a Web Information Provider Form who will maintain that entity’s web pages. The Web Information Provider must be a permanent CCRI employee. A vice president, dean, department chair, or director must approve the allocation of this responsibility.
