What is a Mentor?
A mentor is defined as a "trusted counselor or guide." Mentors are
often referred to as educators, tutors or coaches.
One of the goals of CCRI is to offer comprehensive academic and student
support services.
Current professionals have been selected to "mentor" CCRI students
majoring in any of the associate and certificate programs, including
Health Care students and Women in Technology programs. Mentors
will provide students with first hand knowledge about the profession and
future job outlook.
Participating in the mentoring program can be a rewarding opportunity
for you to work with a trained professional. You will have an
opportunity to take part in a college-wide initiative while working
towards your educational and career goals.
