Internal Communications

The following are our means for internal publicity:
Currents
Crier and Pipeline
Crier -- Instant News

While you may request that your news be placed in a specific area, it is best to let us know what the news is and allow us to determine the appropriate places to publish it. We'll talk with you about your target audience and let you know the means by which we have to reach them.

Currents
Many of you have told us that you want to know more about what is happening throughout the college. As a result, we have merged our quarterly news publications – Update and Focus, geared toward students and faculty/staff, respectively – to create one monthly newsletter serving the whole college.

The name Currents was chosen for this new publication because it represents movement and flow, and because it implies up-to-date news. This is fitting because the goal of this publication is to improve the flow of important and timely news throughout all of our campuses.

Please contact Christina O'Reilly at 825-2007 or caoreilly@ccri.edu with comments or questions.

CCRI Crier Online and Campus Pipeline
Items about upcoming events and short notices are appropriate for the Crier and Pipeline announcements. Notices should be brief and submitted by e-mail. Please include the day, date, time, room number, campus and contact person’s name and telephone extension. E-mail all notices to pr@ccri.edu.

Crier – Instant News
This feature will provide college news via email to keep the college community informed of events as they happen.
