Human Relations Seminar and Application

PSYC - 1970

This course involves an exploration into the human condition including the process of communication and response; the art of helping; choice and the decision process; the limitations set by individual uniqueness; and the acceptance of self and of others. Emphasis is also placed on the role of the value system and problems that arise out of value conflicts. Practical applications of the human relation theories are explored through student participation in group exercises and role-playing. Lecture: 3 hours
