Message from President Di Pasquale to the college community: NEASC accreditation follow-up

I am pleased to report to the college community that BOG Chairman Frank Caprio publicly congratulated the college for its great progress in implementing the recommendations of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges as part of our 2004 re-accreditation.

The chairman’s comments came at this week’s Board of Governors meeting (6/25/07) where I reported on the favorable response from NEASC on the college’s interim report on progress that we submitted last September.  The Commission’s comments were outlined in a letter dated June 7, 2007, in which they also confirmed the submission of the fifth-year interim report in the spring of 2009 and a comprehensive evaluation to be scheduled in spring 2014.

This is wonderful news and is a reflection of the strong foundation we are building for the future.
