Champlin Foundations awards grant to CCRI for lab improvements
A message from the president, Nov. 15, 2012
I am pleased to announce the Community College of Rhode Island has received a $121,040 grant from The Champlin Foundations to replace outdated equipment in the clinical training and chemistry laboratories at the Flanagan Campus in Lincoln.
The Champlin Foundations has been a generous and longtime supporter of the college, making valuable contributions to the ongoing Bobby Hackett Theater renovation, Knight Campus Library improvements in 2009 and the Newport County Campus Capital Campaign in 2004.
CCRI is very thankful for this ongoing support, which greatly improves the college’s ability to fulfill its mission of helping students change their lives and achieve their dreams.
