President receives honorary doctorate from
New England institute of Technology

CCRI President Ray Di Pasquale receives an honorary degree from the New England Institute of Technology. Rhode Island’s Commissioner of Higher Education and CCRI President Ray Di Pasquale was awarded an honorary doctorate from the New England Institute of Technology (NEIT) during the institution’s commencement exercises on Sunday, May 1. Di Pasquale received the honor in recognition of his inspirational public service.

This year marked NEIT’s 70th commencement ceremony. Former Red Sox pitcher and video game entrepreneur Curt Schilling delivered the commencement address to more than a thousand students who received associate or bachelor’s degrees at the ceremony, which took place in the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence.
