The Center for Workforce and Community Education at the Community College of Rhode Island is the institution’s office responsible for coordinating non-credit programs in customized training, community education, literacy education and personal enrichment courses at all four campus locations as well as several off-campus locations. Unemployment Insurance (UI) Waivers are not applicable to Workforce & Community Education courses.
Community College of Rhode Island is a state-supported agency; therefore, tuition and fees are subject to change at any time. Payments in full must be made at the time of registration. All cash payments must be made at the Bursar’s Office only. The Center for Workforce & Community Education reserves the right to deny registration and participation in any course or activity (credit or non-credit) unless all monetary obligations to the College are fulfilled.
We will notify students if their registration is incomplete, if the class is full or if the class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.
CNA State Testing students, CDL examinees and DWI/DDC students will be allowed to register for and take the CNA State Test, CDL Exam or participate in DWI or DDC courses as they are state-mandated courses and/or testing.
