During the Spring 2010 semester, the Observatory will be open every clear Wednesday, unless otherwise noted.Please Note: The Observatory WILL NOT be opened under rainy skies or if the temperature is below 32 degrees as reported at 6 pm.

Telescope
The Community College of Rhode Island unveiled a new 16-inch telescope during a free “First Light Party” in the Margaret Jacoby Observatory on the Knight Campus in Warwick on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Come to the next open house and check it out!

Event is on! Public Open Night is ON tonight We have some beautiful weather, and some beautiful objects. In the scope tonight will be Mars, Saturn, and The Orion Nebula, as well as a few other treats. Please note, the Jacoby Observatory will be closed next week for Spring Break. We'll resume on 3/31, 7-10 p.m. |
