Community Service

What is Community Service?

Community Service offers CCRI students the opportunity to serve on a volunteer basis addressing Rhode Island's educational and human needs in communities throughout Rhode Island and that are adjacent to the four main campuses in Lincoln, Providence, Warwick, and Newport County. We also assist student clubs and organizations on campus who are looking to fund raise for a special cause by partnering them with an agency in need. We collaborate with non-profit agencies every year for CCRI's Annual Community Service Day, during All College Month, by contributing a half or full-day of service to surrounding communities in need.

What are the benefits of getting involved?

Develop Leadership skills and styles, enhance a resume or transcript to a 4-year college, and gain great networking opportunities. Receive extra credit through your class curriculum, if it is part of a Service requirement. Community Service is a great tool used to support student growth as successful leaders in the community.
