About Office of Opportunity & Outreach
Welcome to the Office of Opportunity and Outreach at the Community College of Rhode Island! The Office of Opportunity and Outreach, a part of Student Services, administers a variety of programs that are specifically designed to help Rhode Islanders overcome barriers to starting and completing a post-secondary education.
In addition to providing comprehensive support services to CCRI students, the Office of Opportunity and Outreach works throughout the state by providing post-secondary educational planning, information and assistance to individuals from a low-income and/or first generation background. Our goal is to increase the number of individuals attending and completing college.

The mission of the Office of Opportunity and Outreach is to increase access to and success in post-secondary education among Rhode Islanders who face economic, academic, social, and/or cultural barriers to education.
