|November 9, 2015||Registration begins for Spring classes|
|Ongoing||Financial Aid determines Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) for Spring 2015. Changes to a SAP status may impact financial aid eligibility for the Spring term. Students affected will be notified by email to check their SAP status posted on their MyCCRI account.|
|January 19, 2016||Bookstore authorizations will be posted on student’s individual MyCCRI account. How do I view my CCRI Bookstore Authorization?|
|January 19, 2016||Bookstore authorization will be available to purchase books. Students must provide a CCRI ID to use authorization.|
|January 25, 2016||Classes begin|
|February 12, 2016||Last day for students to use Bookstore authorization.|
|March 1, 2016*||Financial aid refunds will begin to be made available. Students who signed up for ACH payments (E- refunds) will have funds posted to their account within 2 business days after CCRI processing. For all others, paper checks will be mailed first-class thereafter, allow an additional 4 days for delivery. Third party or other payment sources may require additional processing time. To sign up for ACH (E-refunds) log on to MyCCRI account and follow the directions on the My Account tab or go to the Bursar's Office website for more info.|
|April 4, 2016||Students that withdraw from all of their courses and have a last date of attendance prior to this date have not earned all of their financial aid. This may result in a debt to the college.|
Important Refund Information
* To determine when their refunds will be available, students can view their account information through their MyCCRI portal. Select the "My Account" tab and view the exact dates that disbursements and refunds are processed. Please remember, once the refund date is posted electronic refunds will appear in your bank account within two business days, checks will be received approximately one week later.
Reminder- Some students will not receive all of their refund in one disbursement, if any of the following applies:
- One or more of their registered courses have not officially started prior to disbursement.
- Enrollment has not been verified for one or more courses.
- Student has a one semester loan. Loan proceeds must be disbursed in two payments per Department of Education regulations. The second payment will be made after the midpoint of the semester.
New loan recipients for Spring 2016
Students must accept loan, complete and sign MPN and Entrance Counseling. Once this has been completed, loan funds can be applied to student’s tuition and fees and remaining funds may be authorized for the bookstore. See the CCRI Bookstore Authorization FAQ page for more information.
Reminder: Student must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credits) at time of disbursement to remain eligible for Direct Loans.
